Camphill Initiatives for Social Ecology (CISE.ie) had a special space at the Savour Kilkenny Food festival over the weekend. Dedicated to improving the employment prospects of people requiring support with pathways to employment. CISE transformed the old KBC Bank into a hub of culinary excellence and inclusion. Attendees enjoyed delicious samples, made purchases, and engaged in conversations with the trainees and mentors with informative talks, workshops and appearances by special guest chefs. Mentors were available to discuss how these programmes are supporting individuals with disabilities towards meaningful employment in hotels, restaurants, shops and cafes. Contact www.cise.ie
